Is there a test for dementia or alzheimer's

Every four seconds someone new is diagnosed with dementia. And more and more people are asking - is there a test for dementia or alzheimer's?

The best person to ask this question to is your personal physician.

However, if you are looking for a good Alzheimer's or dementia assessment test online, there are several free memory tests that are currently available.

Be careful. You should know this first.

You should only use tests that are backed by good, high quality research.

These are assessment test. Not diagnostic test. In order to diagnose Alzheimer's or dementia it takes a long series of test by someone like a nuerologist.

Be aware. There are all kinds of illnesses or diseases that can present as dementia but are in fact curable.

For example, a sluggest thyroid can make you fell dull, tired, and like you are losing your memory. Most times this can be treated effectively with medication.
